Lakeland Arts Council Mission Statement

Mission: “The Lakeland Arts Council is an organization dedicated to cultivating a supportive environment for the arts in Lakeland, Tennessee.”

Vision: We seek to be an organization that provides strong support for the arts, advocating for creative and performance arts groups, artists, and institutions. The LAC envisions delivering impactful cultural experiences to residents in the Lakeland community and beyond through engaging with the arts.

Commitments:

- Provide resources to strengthen arts programs in the community

- Expand and promote the visibility and footprint of local arts organizations and artists

- Create equitable opportunity and accessibility to participate in and benefit from the arts

- Develop the infrastructure and financial means to support the mission, vision, and goals of the Lakeland Arts Council.
